Proximity Sensor - Carlo gavazzi, Fotek
Proximity sensors are used to detect the presence of
nearby objects without any physical contact. It emits an electromagnetic or
electrostatic field, or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for
instance) and looks for changes in the field or return signal. Target is the
term used to define the object being sensed by the sensors. Different
targets demand different sensors so a inductive proximity sensors,
capacitive proximity sensor and photoelectric sensor is suitable for sensing
a plastic target and an inductive proximity sensor senses metal targets.
The maximum distance that sensors can detect is defined as the "nominal
range" and some sensors can adjust the nominal range or possess means
to report a graduated detection distance. The absence of mechanical parts
and lack of physical contact between sensor and the sensed object provides
Proximity sensors with a high reliability and long functional life.

Solid State
Relays
We offer Solid State Relay, which is available in
different forms such as photo-coupled SSR, transformer-coupled SSR and
hybrid SSR. These solid state relays are electronic devices that contain
no moving part. Our photo-coupled SSR is controlled by a low voltage
signal, which is isolated optically from the load. Due to the control
signal of photo coupled SSR, a LED appears that activates a
photo-sensitive diode, which turns on a back-to-back thyristor, silicon
controlled rectifier, or MOSFET transistor to switch the load.
